This picture reminds me of the first time we visited a Gogos Give Smiles project school in South Africa. We had been traveling a long way from home to be part of this year’s programme. You could feel the anticipation and excitement building up since the previous day’s orientation and training to finally get the first feel of our actual field work and to meet the Gogos, who turned out to be such an amazing and inspirational group of elderly people in the South African community!
It was a privilege getting to know them and to be able to work with them on promoting oral health.
